Kristen M. Singer is a music director, accompanist, costume designer and certified theatre arts teacher. Kristen is the conductor/music director for Catch Me If You Can, a project with Bradford Theatre Arts, performing in Lincoln, Nebraska, at the International Thespian Festival in June 2014. Favorite projects include: co-directing the world premiere of Avenue Q: School Edition in collaboration with Music Theatre International, designing costumes for the world premiere of Aida: School Edition, working with iTheatrics in NYC as a musical director/accompanist and adjudicating at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, GA. She has accompanied over 30 musicals and also worked as a singer/dancer on cruise ships. Kristen received her BA in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and attended the University of Florida-Gainesville for her Masters in Costume Design. Recent NYC credits include: Costume Design: Romeo & Juliet (Titan Theatre Company), By Rights We Should Be Giants (Lunar Energy Productions), The Seagull (Wandering Bark Theatre Company), MD: Glamdromeda (Ugly Rhino Productions). Kristen spends most of her time working as a freelance artist and theatre teacher in the Midwest and spends her summers in London.
